Carol McKnight

Vice President of Talent Management, ATK

Carol McKnight is currently Vice President of Enterprise Talent Management at Alliant Techsystems (ATK) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this position, Carol leads the compensation (including executive compensation), enterprise recruiting and staffing, and employee development functions for the enterprise. In addition, Carol reports directly to ATK’s CEO for executive development.

Prior to her position at Alliant Techsystems, Carol lead the compensation function at NRG Energy in Minneapolis and was a consultant for a Human Resource consulting firm located in Omaha, Nebraska.

Carol has her bachelors degree in Economics from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and her Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Nebraska. In her free time Carol enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, fitness, and spending time with her family.

Derek Beebe

Vice President of Sales, Authoria

Derek is responsible for the management, strategic direction and growth of Authoria's sales team. Derek has over 13 years of direct industry experience and joined Authoria in 2004 with the acquisition of Advanced Information Management (AIM). During his tenure with AIM and Authoria, Derek has held several roles within the sales and marketing functions.

Prior to joining AIM in 1996, Derek spent seven years with Hewlett-Packard in various Finance, Manufacturing, Marketing and HR roles.

Derek holds a bachelors of business administration in finance from Loyola Marymount University.
