Netezza's CEO Saxena Joins Authoria's Board of Directors

Authoria, Inc., the leader in integrated strategic Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced that renowned technology entrepreneur, Jit Saxena, has joined Authoria’s Board of Directors, further strengthening what is already one of the strongest boards among privately-held software companies.

Saxena is CEO and co-founder of Netezza Corp., a rapidly growing market leader in high-performance enterprise data warehouse appliances. Since introducing the NPS® appliance to the market in 2003, Netezza has built a global customer base that includes Amazon.com, Catalina Marketing, Cingular Wireless, Orange UK and the TJX Companies. Prior to founding Netezza in 2000, Saxena was founder, CEO and chairman of Applix, Inc. a business performance management and business intelligence software company that he took public in 1994. In July 2003, Saxena was named Ernst & Young New England Software Entrepreneur of the Year.
