Cinergy Selects Authoria to Deliver Personalized HR Benefits and Policy Information to Employees

Authoria Inc., the world leader in personalized, Web-based human resource communication, today announced that Cinergy, one of the leading diversified energy companies in the United States, has selected Authoria HR to deliver personalized HR information to the company's 8,000 employees. The solution will consist of a flexible and intuitive employee self-service (ESS) web-based application as well as a robust call center application, both powered by Authoria's comprehensive HR knowledge applications.

Cinergy's three utility affiliates serve 1.5 million electric customers and 500,000 gas customers. It is also active in the wholesale energy market with marketing and origination and on-site generation for large volume customers. With approximately 8,000 employees throughout the eastern half of the US, Texas and Oklahoma, providing timely answers to a growing list of employee benefit questions was becoming both time consuming and expensive. By automating its benefits and HR administration via online self-service applications from Authoria, Cinergy will enable its HR staff to focus on more strategic functions while providing faster, more personalized service to its employees.

With Authoria eSPD, Cinergy employees will get easy-to-understand, up-to-date SPDs in a print-ready PDF format that is also easily navigable online.
