Waltham, MA – November 8, 2004 –
Authoria, Inc., a leader in strategic Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today detailed its third quarter results (ended September 30, 2004) and announced once again that it has exceeded all aspects of its corporate plan. The company drove a 40% increase in sales over the same quarter last year and closed 14 new deals, ten of which included services under Authoria Choice™, the company’s new program delivering its solutions on a managed, on-demand basis.
“These results clearly demonstrate that we deliver solutions that truly solve problems for our customers and help them be successful with their most strategic initiatives,” said Tod Loofbourrow, Authoria’s chief executive officer. “In addition, the strong adoption of our solutions delivered as a managed, on demand service shows that we are not only offering the best solutions, but that we’re also providing the flexible deployment options that customers need most.”
Authoria experienced broad demand across its entire product line, including numerous customers that have purchased the complete Authoria Advisor suite of strategic HCM solutions. In addition to the thirteen new deals announced in September as part of Authoria’s acquisition update (following the June 2004 acquisition of Advanced Information Management, Inc.), Authoria has closed deals with:
• Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS)
• Cox Enterprises, Inc.
• Health Net, Inc. (NYSE: HNT)
• Johnson Diversey, Inc.
• Retail Ventures Inc. (Filene’s Basement, Inc., DSW Shoe Warehouse, Inc. and Value City Department Stores) (NYSE: RVI)
As highlighted by its relationship with ACS, Authoria continues to demonstrate its leadership in the HR outsourcing space. Authoria provides solutions to 90% of the top HR outsourcers. “Authoria has been providing products and services to HR outsourcers for more than seven years,” said Joe Jaeger, senior vice president of sales, Authoria. “With millions of lives currently accessing Authoria solutions through these partnerships, this will continue to be both an important market for us and an important channel for our customers.”
