Authoria Promotes Gary McNeil to Vice President, Marketing and Chris Caldon to Vice President, Professional Services

Industry Veterans Take on New Responsibilities As Employee and Manager Self-Service Initiatives Gain Worldwide Momentum

Waltham, MA – January 6, 2003 – 

Authoria, Inc., the world leader in personalized, Web-based human resource communication, today announced that Chris Caldon has been promoted to vice president, professional services and Gary McNeil has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Both promotions will provide Authoria with substantial product development and market positioning experience as the company continues to meet the strong worldwide demand for its HR and benefits communication software.

Chris Caldon, most recently director of product management for Authoria, has been with the company for five years and has been a key contributor to the successful product releases of Authoria eSPD and Authoria HR UK. In his new role, Chris will oversee consulting services, account management, training, and support with a focus on successful customer and partner deployments of the companys flagship Authoria HR product. He will also ensure that Authoria's customers benefit both from the flexibility of Authoria's applications and from its ease of integration with ERP vendors such as PeopleSoft, SAP, and Oracle.

Gary McNeil, most recently director of marketing and sales operations for Authoria, joined the company over three years ago. McNeil is charged with developing and implementing strategies to maintain Authoria's market leadership position. McNeil oversees brand and identity, lead generation, marketing communications, public relations, customer marketing initiatives, events, web marketing, inside sales, and industry analyst relations. His mission is to continue to deliver world-class integrated marketing initiatives that impact customers, prospects, and partners.
