The knowledge application standard for the software industry, Authoria HR  delivers intelligent, personalized Web-based answers to employee benefit and HR policy questions to millions of employees at Global 2000 companies. Authoria HR 3.6 features life event enhancements, new Authoria eSPD Health and Welfare subjects and legislative updates.

Authoria HR 3.6 features several life event enhancements including:

Access to plan comparisons: Authoria HR 3.6 offers customers the ability to have access to plan comparisons and eligible plans for qualified change in status events such as adopting a child or getting married. Prior to the release of Authoria HR 3.6 this option was only available during open enrollment.

Enhanced personalization: Authoria HR 3.6 provides enhanced personalization using variables directly within life events. For example, employees will be able to see how much personal time they have allotted within specific life events, such as having a baby. 

Gender-based information: Content is now specific to an employee's gender. For example, Authoria HR 3.6 will allow males to automatically see paternity leave information, where available.

Other Enhancements to Authoria HR 3.6 Include:

New Authoria eSPD Health and Welfare subjects: To round out the Authoria eSPD Health and Welfare offering included in Authoria HR, Authoria HR 3.6 includes four new subjects: Dependent Life Insurance; Business Travel and Accident; Healthcare Spending Account; and Dependent Care Spending Account. The Authoria HR eSPD product is the industrys first solution that allows companies to create, maintain and distribute online and printable Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) that satisfy ERISA requirements. With Authoria eSPD, employees get easy-to-understand, up-to-date SPDs in a print-ready PDF format that is also easily navigable online.

Legislative updates: Annual updates based upon new or revised guidelines from the Department of Labor as well as IRS tax changes have been incorporated into Authoria HR 3.6. The Department of Labor required claims and appeals revised guidelines have been made to the Authoria eSPD product.
