Waltham, MA – June 10, 2009 –
As part of its commitment to identifying and addressing the opportunities and challenges facing HR today, Authoria will be hosting a webinar on "The Future of Talent Management: Views from a Power Panel" on Tuesday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT. Participants include noted experts in the field of Talent Management, including moderator Bill Kutik and analysts from IDC, Knowledge Infusion and Bersin & Associates.
The Power Panel brings together a team of leading industry experts to discuss the challenges of managing employees in a difficult economic environment and highlights ways in which organizations can best position themselves for growth during the economic recovery.
The discussion will give attendees actionable guidance on how to go beyond automating existing HR functions to effectively and efficiently manage talent and will identify the trends and issues that will face HR professionals as the economy rebounds. Using real customer examples, the Power Panelists will explain the successes and failures of Talent Management users and will provide their insights on the future.
Moderating the panel is Bill Kutik, independent HR analyst, technology columnist for Human Resource Executive and www.HREOnline.com, co-chair of HRE's Annual HR Technology Conference and host of The Bill Kutik Radio Showsm. Kutik is considered the leading independent analyst of the HR technology marketplace with specialties in HCM, Recruiting, Outsourcing and the Talent Management Suite.
Joining Kutik on the Power Panel are Jason Corsello, Vice President, Knowledge Infusion Center of Excellence; Leighanne Levensaler, Director of Talent Management Research, Bersin & Associates; and Lisa Rowan, Program Director of HR, Learning and Talent Strategies, IDC.
"In this economy, many HR organizations are forced to reevaluate the ways in which they manage talent. We know that 'the old way of doing things' is not necessarily going to have the best results for companies operating in this dynamic new environment of fast-paced global and financial change. By bringing together these impressive industry visionaries, we are providing opportunities for our customers and other HR executives to continually educate themselves and refine their strategies within the Talent Management arena," said Jim McDevitt, CEO, Authoria. "This panel of experts will provide real world examples and strategies that can be employed immediately to make a difference. As the economy recovers, organizations will be confronted with a new set of challenges, and we've designed this event to equip HR professionals with the knowledge and insight they need to make the most informed and strategic decisions about their businesses in the coming months."
Kutik says, "This will be the 80th panel I have organized and moderated in the last dozen years, and it promises to be the best. The panelists are truly three of only a handful of the country's leading experts on Talent Management."
