Authoria Demonstrates Clear Leadership at HR Technology Conference

New Release of Authoria Talent Management, Participation in Industry's First Talent Management Shootout, and Featured Speaking Appearances by Customers Highlight Company's Presence

Waltham, MA – October 10, 2008 – 

Authoria, Inc., the leader in comprehensive talent management solutions, will be prominently featured at the 11th annual HR Technology Conference and Expo, held October 15-17 in Chicago. In addition to participating in the industry's first Talent Management Shootout, the company will introduce a new release of its Authoria Talent Management™ solution, and count three of its enterprise customers among the featured speakers at the conference.

Authoria has experienced strong momentum lately, having announced 93-percent bookings growth in the second quarter of 2008 and new marquee customers. Additionally, the company recently announced its acquisition by private-equity firm Bedford Funding, which will provide working capital to enhance its overall growth.

Authoria's participation at the Conference and Expo includes:

  • Introduction of the Q4 2008 release of Authoria Talent Management, with new succession planning and employee-development capabilities that provide maximum visibility into corporate talent and facilitate more effective leadership development. Authoria will demo these capabilities at Booth #909.
  • Participation in the industry's first Talent Management Shootout, to be held Thursday October 16, at 4:00 p.m. (Central). As part of the competition, Authoria CEO Tod Loofbourrow will demonstrate the business value of maximizing talent visibility and accessing all talent-related information from a single interface, on a single technical platform. At last year's HR Technology Conference, Authoria won the prestigious Shootout competition for the second time.
  • A featured presentation by Authoria customer Harris Corporation. Jeff Shuman, Harris Corporation's Vice President of Human Resources, will present "Harris Opts for an Integrated Suite," Thursday October 16 at 1:45 p.m. He will be joined by Authoria Chairman and CEO Tod Loofbourrow.
