Authoria CEO to Address The Conference Board's 2008 Strategic E-HR Conference

Waltham, MA – February 6, 2008 –

Authoria, Inc., the leader in integrated talent management solutions, today announced that Chairman and CEO Tod Loofbourrow will be a featured presenter in two sessions at The Conference Board's 2008 Strategic E-HR Conference. The Conference takes place at the Coronado Island Marriott in San Diego, February 6-7.

As the kickoff speaker on the conference’s second day, Loofbourrow will discuss how HR leaders can meet the challenge of implementing talent-management strategies that deliver bottom-line results for their organizations. According to recent research by The Conference Board, the number-one challenge that CEOs face in improving their companies’ innovation performance is "acquiring/developing the right talent" (CEO Challenge 2007, The Conference Board, October 2007).

Earlier, Loofbourrow will participate in a panel discussion, moderated by Knowledge Infusion CEO Jason Averbook, on innovation in HR technology and selecting the right strategy for one's organization.

Details of Loofbourrow's appearances are:

  • Panel discussion: "Assessing Available Technology Options/Selecting the Right E-HR Strategy for Your Organization," Wednesday, February 6, 4:00-5:15 p.m. (Pacific time).
  • Featured presentation: "HR Makes Talent Count," Thursday, February 7, 8:45-9:30 a.m. (Pacific time).
