Authoria, Inc., the leader in personalized, Web-based human resource communication, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Ricci as vice president of engineering. Reporting to Paul Baier, Authoria’s senior vice president of products, Ricci is responsible for the delivery of Authoria’s strategic product and design development initiatives, and will help define Authoria’s future technology and product roadmap.
"Elizabeth brings deep technical knowledge and a blend of management, organizational, and team building skills which will complement and enhance Authoria’s existing product development organization," said Baier. "Elizabeth’s successful industry track record reflects an innovative, proactive and collaborative approach to enterprise software engineering. Her approach adds tremendous value to the development process as well as to the end product."
Previously, Ricci headed core platform engineering at MatrixOne, developers of collaborative product lifecycle management solutions. Prior to MatrixOne, Ricci was senior director of host connectivity product development at NetManage, developers of host access and integration solutions, and she was the PATHWORKS client product development manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, now part of Hewlett Packard, a global technology solutions provider. In these roles, Elizabeth led teams with an emphasis on collaboration and satisfying customer needs, utilizing her unique approach to solving complex software engineering challenges.
