Tod Loofbourrow
Tod founded Authoria in 1997 and has served as CEO since the firm’s inception.
Tod is responsible for the strategy, management and growth of Authoria, and has grown the software-as-a-service leader to over four million on-demand users at the world’s most
competitive enterprises. Previously, he served as CEO of Foundation Technologies, a leading IT consulting firm for Global 2000 companies.
Tod came to high technology
early, authoring his first of four books on technology at the age of 16. He taught at Harvard University for eight years, where he created and delivered the university’s first courses in
Internet commerce and in knowledge-based systems. Tod has served on several boards of directors including Neuralware and Cyclists Fighting Hunger.
Tod received his
bachelor’s degree from Harvard University – where he served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard International Review – and has performed graduate work at both Harvard and
Oxford University.
His passions include cycling for cancer research, competitive rowing, blues guitar, and building great companies.
Stephen Lifshatz
Steve is charged with overseeing Authoria's financial direction and is
responsible for finance, accounting, facilities, and treasury management.
Before joining Authoria, Steve served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Lionbridge Technologies,
a $450-million publicly held software company. Steve played an active role in the tremendous growth of Lionbridge, from securing VC funding through the company’s IPO and secondary
offerings. Steve built a worldwide finance organization and managed 12 acquisitions, led the company through SEC reporting changes such as Sarbanes-Oxley, and served as the
company’s liaison with the investment community.
Prior to this, Steve served as Vice President and CFO for The Dodge Group, an international software company, and as Vice President and Controller for Marcam
Corporation, from its inception as a $3-million startup to a $325-million publicly held software company.
Steve holds a B.A. in accounting from Skidmore College.
For many years, Steve has been wanting to spend more time behind his camera.
Sharon Levine
Sharon oversees the legal and contracting functions within Authoria. Sharon
has over 13 years experience in software licensing, employment law, and intellectual property management with significant experience in international employment law.
Prior
to joining Authoria, Sharon served as general counsel to Harlequin Incorporated, an innovative UK-based company providing complex graphics software to the pre-press industry.
Sharon received her B.A. degree from Providence College and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
Sharon enjoys cross-country skiing, gardening and reading
thick, heavy books.
Deborah Louis
Debbie leads the day-to-day operations for Authoria’s solutions while continuing to
expand Authoria’s global operations strategy. Her responsibilities include On-Demand Operations, Customer Support, IT, Security and Bangalore Operations.
Prior to joining
Authoria, Debbie served as vice president of e-business operations for Centra Software, a publicly-traded online business collaboration company. Debbie was also vice president of
worldwide operations for Natural Microsystems (NMSS), a publicly-traded communications and technologies systems company. Before joining NMSS she worked at Lotus Development
Corporation for ten years. In 2008 she was honored by Mass High Tech as one of its Women to Watch, an annual selection of female leaders and innovators in science and technology.
Debbie holds a bachelor's degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA and is a member of The Boston Club.
Debbie’s family is
originally from Japan and she enjoys her collection of Asian art.
Joe Jaeger
At Authoria, Joe integrates sales, customer care and global services functions into a
single high-performance unit. Joe also leads the direction of Authoria's partner channel, which provides both distribution and service implementation.
Joe has over 20 years of
experience in software and services sales and management. Joe served as vice president of sales for HBO and Company Medical Management (HBOC), where he was responsible for
generating over $108 million in software revenue. Before HBOC, Joe was vice president of sales at HPR, a developer of healthcare management systems. He has also held executive
sales and management positions at Pansophic Systems and On-Line Software, providers of enterprise software applications.
Joe holds a bachelors degree in business from
Indiana University.
Joe is an avid golfer and keeps a keen eye on the sands of time.
Nina McIntyre
Nina leads Authoria's marketing strategy and execution, encompassing marketing
communications, product marketing, press and analyst relations, sales support and demand generation.
Nina brings over 20 years of marketing, sales, product development
and product management experience with large and emerging high tech companies. Nina was Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Strategic Alliances for Centive, Chief
Operating Officer for Invention Machine, and held senior executive positions with Lotus Development Corporation/IBM, where she was General Manager of Calendaring and Scheduling
products, as well as the award-winning Freelance Graphics unit, and Director of Spreadsheet Product Management.
Nina received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University
and her Masters of Science in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
In addition to her responsibilities at Authoria, Nina currently serves as Vice-Chairman
of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
Nina enjoys the outdoors; even cross-country skiing in chilly New England.
Peter Cohen
Peter is responsible for marketing Authoria’s full range of talent management
solutions, heading efforts to ensure that Authoria presents a compelling and consistent message on the value of our solutions to prospective customers.
Prior to joining
Authoria, Peter was Vice President of Marketing at Red Bend Software, a company providing advanced mobile phone technology. His career also includes marketing positions with
Sonexis, Davox/Concerto, IBM/Lotus, and Prime/Computervision, and analyst positions with International Data Corporation.
Peter received his A.B. from Vassar College and
his M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
Peter prefers to talk with a pen, pencil or PowerPoint in hand.
Georganne (Ganne) Howard
Ganne is charged with leading Authoria's Customer Care organization and is
responsible for managing the relationships with all of our customers and assuring customer success and satisfaction. Ganne also manages our Customer Advisory Council.
Ganne has been with Authoria since the beginning with over 10 years of service. During that time she has held a number of leadership positions in both the product and the
customer-facing organizations.
Ganne brings over 30 years of experience in human resources, finance, and employee benefits. Prior to joining Authoria, Howard was a
principal and the benefits practice leader for Executive Alliance, a full-service human resources consulting firm. She also served as benefits director at BankBoston as well as vice
president of benefits at Bank of New England and spent over 12 years at Data General Corporation, where she held management positions in benefits, human resource information
systems, and risk management.
Ganne loves to travel for both business and pleasure. Hawaii is her personal favorite.
Pete Mann
Pete leads the charge to expand Authoria’s product strategy and in the marketplace
through partnerships and acquisitions.
Before joining Authoria, Pete spent seven years in the venture capital industry focused on healthcare information technology and
human resource technology companies. Most recently Pete was Vice President at Fidelity Ventures in Boston, where he was responsible for the selection, negotiation, and active
management of investments for their venture arm. He represented Fidelity on numerous Boards of Directors, including TriZetto and Icarian.
Pete holds a master's degree in
business administration from Northeastern University Graduate School of Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bucknell University.
Pete manages to keep other high tech execs in the old guys league in good shape.
Elizabeth Ricci
Elizabeth drives the company’s overall product strategy and development as she
oversees both product management and engineering in the delivery of Authoria’s highly scalable and comprehensive integrated talent management product suite, delivered by a global
world-class team that embraces agile methodologies and cutting edge technologies.
Elizabeth has over 20 years of leadership experience in the field of enterprise software development, and previously managed engineering efforts at MatrixOne, FTP Software, and Digital
Equipment Corporation. In these roles, she led teams with an emphasis on collaboration and satisfying customer needs, utilizing her unique approach to solving complex software
engineering challenges.
Elizabeth received her B.A. degree in mathematics from Douglass College of Rutgers University, and an M.S. in mathematics from Northeastern University. She holds U.S. and Canadian
software patents in network configuration ease-of-use. In 2005 she was honored by Mass High Tech as one of its Women to Watch, an annual selection of female leaders and innovators
in science and technology.
In addition to driving the company’s overall product strategy and development, Elizabeth also drives a 1967 Jaguar XKE convertible she restored in memory of her brother.
James Bowley
Jim leads the product consulting, corporate sales, and inside sales groups within
Authoria. In that capacity, he works closely with teams throughout the organization to drive sales execution by designing and implementing sales-support systems and methods.
While at Authoria, Jim previously served as part of the organization’s product management team. He started his career at Authoria in the professional services organization,
managing the implementations of several early Authoria clients. Before joining Authoria, Jim held positions in organizational and communications consulting with Mercer HR Consulting
and Towers Perrin. He also has taught at Boston College where he earlier earned a B.A. and an M.A.
Jim lives in New England where there are many apple orchards.
Cathy Phillips
Cathy is responsible for the development and implementation of Authoria’s human resources strategies, including compensation and rewards programs, training and performance management, policies and procedures. In addition, she leads the company’s recruitment efforts.
Before joining Authoria, Cathy was manager of sales operations at Mathsoft, makers of software for applying mathematics to engineering and application-specific projects. Prior to Mathsoft, Cathy held sales management and human resources management positions at Centive, a software and services company in the enterprise incentive management market.
Cathy received her Certificate of Accounting from Northeastern University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
Cathy considers Austin her second home and thus has been nicknamed "The Sheriff."
